|
Goals and Objectives:
Swim-Natation Manitoba is pleased to be partnering with Sport Manitoba for the 2012 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games in Swan River. Swim-Natation Manitoba’s goal is to use the Power Smart Manitoba Games as the first step in a 3 stage program, identifying and developing athletes for future interprovincial competition at Western Canada Summer Games and Canada Summer Games.
The Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games is designed to engage athletes from all regions of the province, encouraging program growth and participation in swimming. Our purpose for the Power Smart Manitoba Games is to aid the development of both summer and winter club athletes in the “Learn to Train” stage of the Long Term Athlete Development Model.
