What is a Master Swimmer?


A master swimmer is a swimmer aged 18 and over who trains under the supervision of a trained coach, with other masters in a swimming club registered with the Swim Natation Manitoba (SNM). Swimmers can participate to improve their physical condition, their swimming technique, and can participate in competitions.

All swimmers registered with SNM can participate in activities organized by SNM and by Swimming Canada.

​

What is the role of SNM with Masters?

​

The SNM's objectives for Masters are:

  • To create a stimulating and quality service offering  for everyone interested in masters swimming

  • To provide a renewed competition program adapted to adult athletes

 

With values ​​based on:

  • Swimmer retention through pleasure, health, well-being, participation, and personal achievement.
