Return to Swimming

As of April 16, there is no change to the Manitoba Public Health Orders for indoor sport. We encourage our clubs and members to continue their good work of following the guidelines of our return-to-play protocol and thus to minimize any transmission. So far, our sport has been exemplary, let's continue the good work!

We will continue to closely monitor the development of the third wave that has reached Manitoba and see how the government and public health will react in the coming weeks to the evolution of the situation. We will communicate with the clubs if any changes are approved.

Winnipeg Recreation & Parks Strategies

The city of Winnipeg is developing a long term strategy plan for recreation. Swim Manitoba is involved in discussions particularly regarding strategies surrounding the development of aquatic infrastructure.

We encourage our members of clubs located in Winnipeg to complete the online recreation survey. You have until April 23 to complete the survey:
