Return to Play – Safe Return to Swimming

The Pan Am swimming pool in Winnipeg is preparing to open their doors on Monday, July 20.

The Winnipeg clubs are therefore preparing for a return to swimming from July 20 onwards, following the authorities' instructions.

Swim Manitoba requested and received a letter from an independent law firm. Following the recommendations received, the Swim Manitoba council decided to modify the waiver and add a new Acknowledgement specific to Swim Manitoba.

Take note that Swim Manitoba Return to Play has been updated to version 3.

All documents are available on our website.

AGM Follow-up

At the AGM on June 24, several questions were raised, including the percentage of the budget that comes from swimmer membership fees paid to SNM. Membership fees, which includes competitive, masters, and summer registrations represent 7.6% of the SNM annual revenue. Here is a table representing all the fees paid by our members.

Awards Banquet

The 2020 banquet will take place virtually this year due to COVID-19. We will announce on our Facebook and Twitter feeds starting July 20. A new winner will be announced daily from Monday to Friday.
