Return to Swimming
We are happy to see more and more clubs and groups quietly returning to the pool for a gradual return to swimming.
March 25 our meeting with club presidents and head coaches reviewed the return to play protocols, review key points to follow, as well as share the latest information we have to date for the next step.
Review of important points from the return to play protocol:
athletes, coaches, and staff are asked to adhere to 2m social distancing
wear masks in the facility (exception being for athletes in the pool & shower).
Maximum of 4 swimmers per 50m lane, but a maximum of two swimmers at the stop per end at all time. Maximum of 2 swimmers per 25m lane (all Manitoba/Winnipeg Pools)
Maximum of 10 swimmers per group/coach.
Keep distance even when stop at the end of the lane:
Specific reminder for Training Tank Pan Am Pool users:

Pan Am will continue with the Training tank entrance during SNM swim times in the Training Tank. Once the doors are shut anyone that is late will come through the front entrance.

Just like we did last fall, we ask all groups to exit the pool 10 minutes early to ensure a safe transition.
Please remember access to the locker rooms is based on a maximum of 10 minutes with physical distancing & mask wearing mandatory
