Nationwide #Swimagain Challenge
The Nationwide #Swimagain Challenge is well underway and will continue until the week of November 2.
Congratulations to Camryn Thomas St James Seals Swim Club who wins a Speedo Canada on week four!
Also, congratulations to Joshuah Pereira and Ella Falcetta of Para Storm Swim Club who reached the top 10 in the para-swimming challenge of week 3.
Congratulations to Cole Magnusson of Para Storm Swim Club and Christine McKinley and Chris Torrence of Manitoba Marlins Master group who reached the top 10 in the Master's challenge of week 3.

2022 Canada Games Dates Announced
In consultation with provincial/territorial teams, National Sport Organizations (NSOs), sport/non-sport venues, and all levels of government, the Canada Games Council (CGC) and Niagara 2022 Host Society have confirmed that the new dates of the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagara will be from Saturday, August 6th to Sunday, August 21st, 2022.
The new dates mean Niagara 2022’s Opening Ceremony will now take place on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at Meridian Centre in St. Catharines, while the Games’ Closing Ceremony will fall on Sunday, August 21st, 2022 at Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls.
According to the latest information received, swimming is expected to stay in the first week.
Winnipeg will turn RED on Monday November 2nd for at least two weeks. All sport and leisure facilities will
be closed while area is in Critical Level (Red Level).
All other regions will turn Orange (Restricted).
We encourage everyone to act responsibly and do their part to reduce the progression of COVID cases and hope that athletes can return to training as soon as possible.
Considering that the Swim Manitoba office is located in Winnipeg, Swim Manitoba employees will work from home as long as the region remains at Critical level (red).
